About

Americana songs

Folk, blues, country, rock & roll

Patina has been writing and performing original Americana songs for over a decade. Founded by songwriter Sam Hopkins and guitarist Bret Agins, the band features Josh Taylor (drums), Jon Alexander (keys), Sarah Hopkins (vocals), and John MacKay (bass).

They might best be described as a folk-blues-rock band that occasionally leans country.

Over the years, PATINA has continued to forge their sound, with Hopkins’ songwriting brought to life through the collective musicianship of the band. “Hard Luck Sound” is that sound, and the title of their third studio album, out April 2020.
